THE CHALLENGE
Finding an instructor shouldn't be harder than the black run
Asian skiers booking lessons in Japan face a mess: instructors are scattered across Instagram, LINE groups and resort desks; prices are opaque; and language is a lottery. Instructors, meanwhile, have empty weekday slots they can't fill. A classic two-sided matching problem — and nobody was solving it for the Hong Kong–Japan corridor.
THE SOLUTION
A bilingual marketplace with matching at the core
Snowmate lets students search by resort, dates, language and discipline, see verified profiles with transparent hourly pricing, and request a match. Instructors control their calendar and rates; payments, deposits and cancellation policies are handled by the platform. Everything ships in English and Traditional Chinese from day one — not as an afterthought translation.
