HKTDC E-Day: scaling event engagement with an NFT stamp card
We partnered with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to upgrade their flagship innovation expo, Entrepreneur Day. A high-performance, frictionless NFT stamp card turned a visit into a venue-wide collecting game — ten limited-edition stamps, each minted on-chain in real time, with digital coupons and an automatic lucky-draw entry for collectors.

THE CHALLENGE
Moving beyond passive event engagement at scale
Flagship expos draw thousands of global innovators, but the digital experience is static: a QR code gets scanned at the door and the interaction ends there. Organizers have no way to guide visitors across the venue, showcase Web3 hands-on, or reward exploration. HKTDC needed a secure, high-throughput system for E-Day that could mint thousands of tokens live on the event floor — without exposing non-technical visitors to wallets, gas fees or any other Web3 friction.
THE SOLUTION
An on-chain stamp rally, frictionless by design
We built a production-grade NFT stamp card woven into the event itself. Ten limited-edition stamps were up for grabs — six at seminars, three at exhibition checkpoints, and one reserved for lucky-draw winners — each minted as a token in real time at the moment of scanning. Designated stamps unlocked exclusive merchant coupons, and completing the checkpoint set entered visitors into the daily lucky draw automatically. All the Web3 machinery stayed invisible: a wallet was created in real time the first time a visitor signed in with their HKTDC account, so collecting an NFT felt as simple as scanning any QR code.

WHAT WE BUILT
The enterprise Web3 stamp-card stack
Frictionless Web3 onboarding
A wallet is created in real time the first time a visitor signs in with HKTDC OAuth — keys and gas handled invisibly, nothing to install or fund.
Scan-to-mint checkpoints
QR checkpoints across the venue — seminars, exhibition zones, partner booths — each minting that location's unique stamp token on the spot.
Real-time minting engine
A stable blockchain pipeline minting thousands of stamp tokens live on the event floor, holding up under peak exhibition traffic.
Coupon & lucky-draw engine
Completing the set unlocks exclusive merchant coupons — redeemed in-shop by QR — and enters the visitor into the daily lucky draw automatically.
Organizer operations console
A real-time dashboard for HKTDC staff to monitor stamp mints, set completions and coupon redemption across the event floor.
THE RESULT
A collecting game that moved the whole venue

Enterprise Web3 succeeds when the underlying technology is invisible to the end user. For HKTDC E-Day, we built an architecture that prioritized stability and accessibility, proving that tokenization can elevate large-scale corporate events.
